Liverpool Biennial is an on-going platform for research, commissioning and presenting international art, education and debate.
The biennial exhibition is the UK Biennial of Contemporary Art and brings an international focus to our work. It is the moment when the world comes to Liverpool to engage with our thinking, and when we present art to the world.
Fundraising is embedded throughout the organisation, from board to volunteer, and our Fundraising Fellow will join an energetic team committed to realising the Company’s mission of Engaging Art, People and Place.
The Liverpool Biennial Fellow, far from sitting on the side lines, will be supported by the Head of Development and have ambitious targets and projects that will bring you into the heart of the organisation, connecting you internally and with our many partners, supporters and artists – regionally, nationally and internationally. Our strategy is to present the UK’s leading visual art festival; to broaden and deepen engagement with contemporary visual art; and to add value to professional development and the arts infrastructure through partnership. You will help us realise this by participating in all areas fundraising including public and private sector, European, sponsorship, Limited Edition and Merchandise sales, national and international trusts and foundations and individual giving though our growing patrons programme. Education is at the core of Liverpool Biennial’s work and as our Fellow you will be supporting the growth of a more resilient sector fit for the future.
