Liverpool Philharmonic is one of the UK’s most forward-looking music organisations. Over the last four years our experienced Development team of six has grown in size and vigour and is ambitious to build on the significant momentum achieved during successful capital and revenue fundraising campaigns.
Our three-year plan is to encourage existing and new donors to support specific elements of our work, particularly around our sector leading education programme, which includes our ground-breaking music education and social change programme In Harmony Liverpool. 2015 is the 175th anniversary of Liverpool Philharmonic which provides an excellent opportunity to further galvanise our philanthropic base through events and donor communications.
We welcome the enthusiasm and fresh approaches our Fundraising Fellow will bring and look forward to integrating you into our team, with targets, project responsibilities and activities that will involve you in all aspects of our work. This will include face to face contact with donors and sponsors; with people at all levels of the organisation; and across our city and regional networks.
You will be supported to develop a broad range of skills including planning and delivering events, campaign management and writing funding applications and sponsorship proposals. Donor care is the most important element of our fundraising strategy and you will pay an active part in building a growing these relationships.
We take seriously our responsibility to support the profession of arts fundraising and are confident you will be inspired, encouraged and enabled to develop the skills you need for a successful career in the sector.
