Join us at Reading Town Hall for a day of bespoke training for heritage organisations on the subject of fundraising. This training is being delivered as part of our Heritage Compass training programme, which we have decided to open up to the wider heritage sector – you will join our current programme participants for a day of wider connection, discussion and learning.

You will learn about the ingredients for developing a strong case for support and a good application. Consideration will be given to how fundraising can fit into the whole organisation and there will be practical ideas for you to take away and act upon now, so that you can build confidence and success.

The training will be led by Helen Jenkins, a consultant at 117 Consulting who has worked in fundraising for longer than she cares to remember, but is prepared to admit to over 20 years! She has specialised in the arts for the last 10 years, working across all fundraising disciplines, in senior management roles and at Board level.

All participating heritage organisations should match the Heritage Compass criteria:

• Based in England
• Less than £1 million in turnover
• Be either a Start-Up; Registered Charity; CIO; CIC; Social Enterprise; B Corp or Not-For-Profit.
