Punchdrunk develops and produces unforgettable theatrical experiences that place audience members at the very centre of a narrative. Since 2000, the company has pioneered a game-changing form of immersive theatre in which roaming audiences experience epic storytelling inside sensory theatrical worlds. Blending classic texts, physical performance, award-winning design installation and unexpected sites, the company’s infectious format rejects the passive obedience usually expected of theatre audiences.
Punchdrunk Enrichment, the company’s education and outreach department, creates work specially developed for schools and communities, aiming to provide strong social and educational benefit. Against Captain’s Orders: A Journey into the Uncharted, a groundbreaking new project in partnership with Royal Museums Greenwich, at the National Maritime Museum 28 March – 31 August 2015, is a Punchdrunk Enrichment production.
Punchdrunk is delighted to be one of the London host organisations for the Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Fellowship programme in 2015/2016. The Fellow will work closely with Punchdrunk’s Head of Development on all aspects of fundraising, especially Punchdrunk’s growing individual giving ‘Keyholders’ scheme and on its successful Trusts and Foundations strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone energetic, creative and enterprising to work with, learn from and contribute to one of the UK’s most distinctive and critically acclaimed theatre companies.
