Sadler’s Wells is one of the world’s leading dance houses. It aims to provide transformative experiences through dance and to expand the public’s enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of dance.
Sadler’s Wells presents, produces, commissions and tours the best of dance in all its forms to audiences of over 600,000 each year in Britain and around the world.
As the Cause4 Fellow at Sadler’s Wells you would be joining a dynamic and thriving Development Team, which raises close to £1.5 million a year from individual donors and patrons, trusts and foundations, corporate sponsorship and embassy support.
Over two performance seasons you will be an integral part of the fundraising team, honing your practical development skills across all areas of fundraising and specifically through your involvement in fundraising events (including a large-scale benefit night around Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake in December 2013), prospecting/industry research and fundraising from companies.
You will have a focus on supporting the fundraising efforts for a major refurbishment campaign of the Sadler’s Wells Theatre to celebrate its 15th anniversary this year. This work will have a significant legacy; enabling Sadler’s Wells to invest in vital and cutting-edge technology upgrades, green energy and audience facilities to maintain its status as a leading global dance house.
