Essentials in Legacy Fundraising

Legacy giving can transform the long-term sustainability of arts, culture and heritage organisations. It continues to be a powerful income stream for UK charities, with legacy income rising by 9% in 2024, reaching over £4.5 billion.

The opportunity in legacy fundraising is both real and growing. This practical and engaging course will help you maximise this opportunity, helping you build confidence and skills in developing, communicating and growing a successful legacy giving programme.

Designed for fundraisers, senior leaders and development professionals across the cultural sector, the course explores how to approach legacy fundraising with sensitivity, authenticity and strategic focus.

Who is this for?

  • Gain insights into the hallmarks of good legacy fundraising campaigns
  • Recognise the sensitivities relating to legacy fundraising
  • Navigate the legalities of legacy fundraising
