Megan Turnell Willett

Megan is Head of Development at Reading Rep Theatre, where she leads fundraising strategy across artistic, education, outreach and organisational development activity. Since joining Reading Rep in 2021 as the organisation’s first dedicated Development lead, she has established a sustainable Development function, securing significant trust, foundation and statutory support and introducing new income streams including membership and corporate partnerships. Megan previously worked in trusts and foundations fundraising at the Natural History Museum, supporting capital, science and education projects. She is particularly interested in fundraising strategy, income resilience, organisational culture and the role of philanthropy in supporting ambitious, inclusive regional theatre.
