Nesta Nelson

Nesta began her career at Freedom Festival Arts Trust in Hull, going on to work with Hull Film Festival and co-found Hull Independent Cinema. Now working as Producer at Back to Ours, an Arts Council England Creative People and Places project, she firmly believes in the value that cultural experiences have in local communities and works hard to inspire creativity and promote lasting change in Hull’s neighbourhoods. Nesta also Produces work for renowned multimedia artists Davy and Kristin McGuire.
