Colne Valley forms a unique and precious buffer immediately to the west of London, centred on the River Colne and connected waterways, lakes and canals. Colne Valley CIC aims to improve water quality, flow and condition throughout and exceed all statutory requirements. It seeks to raise the profile of the park and fulfil its enormous potential as a regionally significant destination for recreation and relaxation. The Colne Valley Regional Park is a vibrant, living entity that boosts health and well-being: a pleasant environment, rich in wildlife, in which people live, work and play, and one that actively encourages farming and forestry to thrive.
Colne Valley CIC has a vision that by 2050, Colne Valley Regional Park will be a network of high-quality countryside, villages, green spaces, lakes and waterways.
