Jonathan Price is a Lecturer in Creativity and Enterprise at the University of Leeds, within the School of Performance and Cultural Industries.
Jon is also the Programme Leader for the PG Cert in Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy, where he works alongside the Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy team to deliver the renowned Fellowship Programme.
Jon’s research interests include cultural leadership and policy, art and social justice, cultural participation and creative programming. Jon has significant direct policy experience at local, national and international levels, and he is a former Principal Arts Officer for the local authority in Leeds, devising and operating cultural programmes and grant schemes, and has been an external funding assessor specialising in visual arts for Creative Scotland.
In his ongoing consultancy work, Jon is a lead expert for the European Commission’s Creative Europe programme and provides advice on European funding for the British Council. As a member of the European Expert Network on Culture and Audiovisual (EENCA) Jon also contributes to policy development for the European Commission.
