Join us at Reading Town Hall for a day of bespoke training for heritage organisations on the subject of finance and business management. This training is being delivered as part of our Heritage Compass training programme, which we have decided to open up to the wider heritage sector – you will join our current programme participants for a day of wider connection, discussion and learning.

The objective of this workshop is to equip participants with tools and approaches for identifying, prioritising and testing earned income ideas. As well as tried and tested frameworks, we will explore case studies and examples from the heritage sector to spark ideas and debate. Participants will leave with an action plan to help turn their ideas into opportunities and opportunities into action.

The training will be led by Ellen O'Hara, an independent coach and consultant in creative and cultural enterprise with 18 years experience spanning the private, public and third sectors.

All participating heritage organisations should match the Heritage Compass criteria:

• Based in England
• Less than £1 million in turnover
• Be either a Start-Up; Registered Charity; CIO; CIC; Social Enterprise; B Corp or Not-For-Profit.
