Cognitive Paths designs integrated frameworks instead of “silo” based programmes with and for BAME communities and organisations in Bristol to develop, preserve and exhibit their cultural heritage as well as enabling meaningful participation in education and business. The organisations work to benefit people who experience discrimination, inequality and disadvantage in society by broadening the range of opportunities available to them, through national and local programmes, delivered in collaboration with public, private and voluntary sectors. Its approach encourages disadvantaged groups to aspire, apply, enter and succeed. The charity works for the purpose of building hope, aspiration and driving productivity in areas of multiple deprivation and for people who may have low education attainment, high aspiration, minor offenses or lack of social capital. It achieves its aims through project facilitation, community engagement, job creation, economic growth, training, educational workshops and digitisation of services.
Our mission is to support the educational attainment of young people and promote the entry of minority-led enterprises into the mainstream of economic activity.
