Marlborough Productions' vision is 'a world where queer people are inherently valued and queer creativity has no limits'. The charity's objectives are to address the inequitable cultural representation and lack of cultural opportunities for ethnically diverse LGBTQI+ artists and leaders as well as structural inequalities in the UK (and the cultural sector) create barriers which marginalise, minoritise LGBTQI+ communities, negatively impacting their lives. Marlborough Productions addresses these issues through intersectionality-focused queer culture and hertiage projects; local, national and international focus; community development; models of queer leadership; creating new worlds and liveable alternative realities; and partnerships that educate and influence the sector more widely.
